What you send

Two exports, both standard reports your system already produces. Pulling them is typically under an hour.

Payroll register export (CSV/Excel) for one quarter — the per-employee, per-period earnings report every system produces (ADP, UKG, Workday, Paylocity, Paychex…).
Time-punch or daily-hours detail for the same quarter — required to reassemble the legal workweeks your pay periods split apart.
A pay-code list if you have one (if not, I'll build the includable/excludable mapping with you).

What you get back

A quantified exposure report, ranked by pay code: where the regular rate diverges from what was paid — omitted bonuses, differentials, Alvarado flat-sum divisors, Ferra meal-premium basis, retroactive true-ups.
A W-2 Box 12 code TT reconciliation: the number your system would report vs. the computed number, for the same quarter.
A gross-to-net reconciliation check — if your export silently dropped pay codes, you'll hear that too (it's the most common data-quality failure).
If the audit is clean: a documented clean result. That documentation is what PAGA's "reasonable steps" provision rewards.

On privilege: for employers with counsel, the snapshot is designed to be commissioned by your attorney so the analysis sits under privilege. I'll coordinate directly with your employment counsel if you'd like — or your defense firm can commission it on your behalf. Findings are arithmetic, not legal conclusions; what to do about them is between you and your counsel.

Data stays on hardware I control, is used only to produce your report, and is deleted within 30 days of delivery (sooner on request, confirmed in writing).
